Full OCT-based customized pseudophakic eye model with intraocular lenses, published in Biomedical Optics Express



We present customized eye models of patients implanted with intraocular lenses. Eyes are constructed using patient-based anatomical data obtained from custom quantitative anterior segment optical coherence tomography. There is an excellent agreement between the high order aberrations obtained by virtual ray tracing on the model eyes. and those measured by aberrometry on the same patients. These results demonstrate that OCT-based eye models are excellent platforms to optimize selection of the intraocular lens  providing best optical quality to each individual patient.
