New in the lab: Miriam Velasco

We welcome Miriam Velasco in the VioBio Lab. Miriam is an Optometrist, and holds a Master in Optometry and Visual Sciences from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She has experience in the clinic and industry. She will be involved in optical design and visual optics experiments in the lab.

Front Cover in Biomedical Optics Express

An image from a recent paper (Dynamic OCT measurement of corneal deformation by an air puff in normal and cross-linked corneas) was chosen as cover illustration for the march issue of Biomedical Optics Express. The image shows the deformation of a cornea resulting from a 20-ms air puff. For details, see C. Dorronsoro et al., Biomed. Opt. Express 3, 473 (2012).
