Susana Marcos, elected Director at Large of the Optical Society of America

OSA announced yesterday (Oct 16)  the results of its annual election at its Business Meeting held in Rochester, NY. Susana Marcos will be serving OSA for three years as a member of the Board of Directors. OSA is the largest Optical Society worldwide, with over 180.000 members, 30 of them Nobel Laureates. OSA promotes the advance in the science of optics and light providing resources for education, science and business leaders in this field.

New in the lab: Dr. Enrique Bustos

We welcome Enrique Bustos, who joins the Visual Optics and Biophotonics Lab as a Research Manager. Enrique comes to us from CSIC Office of Technology Transfer, and has scientific (chemical physics)  and research managing backgrounds (IP, technology commercialization, and fund raising among others).
