VioBio Lab participates in the International Day of Light 2021

After the successful celebration of the International Year of Light in 2015, UNESCO set the date of May 16 to commemorate the role of light in science, culture, education, sustainable development and many other fields. The VioBio Lab (Instituto de Óptica, CSIC) will join the celebration of the International Day of Light with a series of activities that you can check out below:

Friday May 7

• Susana Marcos keynote lecture “Luz, Optica y Visión” in “EnGOMate con la luz: Luz para la vida“, organized by OSA Student Chapters OSA UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) & GOMa-UD (Universidad Distrital FJC, Colombia).

• IOSA Student Chapter CSIC will be involved in “Dia Internacional de la Luz Terrassa” (IDL 2021 Central Event in Spain). IOSA members will carry out workshops with the students of Instituto Mont Perdut and Escuela Cingle.
