New in the lab: Paulina Dotor

We welcome Paulina Dotor, MsC Imaging and Optical Technology by Complutense University of Madrid, who has recently joined VioBio Lab within the framework of CaixaResearch Validate project funded by La Caixa Foundation to promote innovation in healthcare.

Paulina has previous experience working as Clinical Optometrist in Indizen Optical Technologies where she was involved in patient care, generation of visual tests in clinical studies for the development of new products, development of clinical protocols, and quality control of ophthalmic lenses. She will work in the project Direct Subjective Refraction, a new method for estimating visual prescription, in the development of protocols and organization and performance of clinical measurements with the new clinical method.

PhD Thesis Defense by Carmen M. Lago on March 23 2023

VioBio Lab member Carmen M. Lago will be defending her PhD thesis entitled “Development of new applications of simultaneous vision simulator” (PhD supervisors: Susana Marcos, Alberto de Castro, Lucie Sawides). The defense will take place March 23 at 15h (CET) at Complutense University of Madrid (Facultad de Ciencias Físicas, Sala de Grados) and can also be followed remotely through Google Meet.
